Giulio has significant experience in leading and managing high performing teams in start-up and global IT environments. With his outstanding technical and organisational skills, he has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding both company and client goals.

Brett has been in the IT industry for over 20 years and has vast experience in technical sales and management roles. Working predominantly with data and cloud based projects, Brett always keeps his knowledge up to date, achieving the Microsoft SQL DBA Qualification and the Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.

Brett leads some of TechConnect’s largest projects and enjoys providing real business benefits and building strong customer relationships.

Malin is an experienced HR leader with over a decade of expertise in HR, recruitment, payroll, and compliance. She is passionate about fostering collaborative cultures, driving meaningful change, and building high-performing teams of ideal team players—those who are humble, hungry, and people-smart.

With a strong commitment to developing people into leaders, Malin works closely with organisations at every stage, helping them navigate people and culture opportunities while implementing effective systems and processes that support long-term success.

She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Human Resources), equipping her with the strategic insight and expertise to help organisations thrive through strong leadership and culture.

Outside of work, Malin enjoys traveling, Pilates, history, and spending quality time with her family.

Gavin has had over 26 years’ experience in the IT industry, working in South Africa, UK, NZ and recently Australia. Gavin primarily worked for Managed Service Providers, leading teams across the ICT industry. With Gavin’s extensive knowledge in the ICT industry, he has expanded his skills and provided a platform to be a successful and confident business leader, gaining a great understanding of extensive strategic business planning, project management, and effective delivery across complex programs of work. Working and advising key stakeholders and planners across all industries on innovative and collaborative technology, to empower them in effectively achieving their business goals.

Gavin’s hobbies include scuba diving and four-wheel driving. He is an avid sportsman; most sports interest him. Fun fact: Gavin support the All Blacks Rugby and West Indies Cricket. Australia is slowly winning him over!

Mandy is a senior ICT Project Manager with 15 years experience in managing complex Infrastructure and Data Migration projects as well as Enterprise System deployments. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in technical account management and, is leading the Project Management Office at TechConnect.

Mandy’s passion lies in creating a structured approach to project delivery that not only supports our teams but also ensures customer success. With her extensive experience, she understands the importance of clear communication and building lasting relationships with stakeholders. She firmly believes that a successful project is not just about meeting deadlines and delivering results but also about nurturing strong connections that foster trust and collaboration.

Warren is a seasoned professional with a storied career in the IT industry that spans the rise of mainframes to the cutting-edge technologies of today. His deep-seated passion for problem-solving and value creation has been a driving force in fostering strong relationships with Tier one Partners and Vendors, offering unparalleled technical expertise and customer service. Outside of work, he finds solace and balance in the serenity of nature, which fuels his continuous innovation in our digital world.

Warren has achieved several business and technical certifications across Microsoft and Amazon Web Services.

Maxime joined the TechConnect team after graduating from a Bachelor of Science. She specialises in content delivery networks, and has in-depth knowledge of web caching systems and global internetwork routing. She has an interest in web programming and artificial intelligence and is always eager to broaden her skills.

Maxime also holds the Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Amazon Web Services Certified Developer – Associate, and Google Associate Cloud Engineer certifications.

After graduating with a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from Queen’s University, Belfast, Conor spent 5 years working in a variety of roles in defense and manufacturing, specialising in software implementation and resilience. Conor has joined the TechConnect Team in a hybrid role as an Infrastructure Engineer as part of our Managed Services Team and a Support Engineer as part of our Shared Services Team.

Conor loves the outdoors, from hiking to biking, but spends most of his free time under water either as a scuba instructor or just exploring the weird and wonderful world that is our oceans.

Kate is our admin guru, a problem solver, and a communications expert. Always ready to extend a helping hand, she has a can do attitude that create solutions for a smooth and personalised experience within the team. Her ability to multitask and stabilise a sometimes crazy creative environment comes naturally to her. Kate is very organised, and ensures that any work assigned to her are smooth sailing from start to completion. Her experience is diverse and universal. Her professional approach to client interactions is commendable and ensures no detail is left unattended.

Matt comes from almost 10 years of local government experience in both Control Systems Engineering and ICT Database Administration. With degrees in both Computer Engineering and Computer Science, he has now transitioned into the field of AWS with TechConnect with great enthusiasm.

Matt is currently supporting our clients from both the Professional Services and Slipstream teams while studying for the Amazon Web Services Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

In his spare time, Matt enjoys going to the gym, gaming and traveling overseas whenever the opportunity presents.

With over two decades of experience in the IT space, Mark is a seasoned Data Engineer with a strong foundation in software development and a passion for delivering impactful data solutions. His expertise includes areas such as cloud-based data engineering, data modelling, business intelligence, and analytics, and has designed and implemented end-to-end data solutions across various industries such as mining, health, finance, and retail.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys spending time outdoors and going out for coffee.

Baxter is a relatively new face in the scene of cloud computing. With his passion for software development, strong can-do attitude, and willingness to achieve, he believes TechConnect is the best place for him to learn and grow his skills.

Baxter has achieved the Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.

Maya’s formal education is in Chemistry and used to work as a compound technician. However, during her last semester in university, she picked up some coding courses and thoroughly enjoyed them, so she decided to switch careers. She is passionate about growing and learning about technology and would like to further her career in the IT industry.

In Maya’s free time, she enjoys reading and gardening. She also loves outdoor/fitness activities such as rock climbing.

Matthew Dickson is a highly experienced Solutions Architect specialising in Cloud and DevOps, with a strong background in infrastructure modernisation and technical leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and a Bachelor of Multimedia, along with AWS Solutions Architect – Professional and AWS Security Specialist certifications.

Currently, Matthew is leading modernisation initiatives, including AWS Organisation design, foundational cloud services, and large-scale migrations of on-premise infrastructure to the cloud. His expertise and adaptability quickly accelerated his progression from the TechConnect graduate program, building on years of IT industry experience in managerial roles, to a Solutions Architect role, where he has been instrumental in driving cloud transformation efforts.

Outside of work, Matthew is passionate about technology and innovation, from building a smart home with automation and IoT integrations to designing and building high-performance gaming PCs. He also enjoys staying up to date with emerging technologies, particularly in AI, automation, and cloud computing.

Arné is an accomplished and passionate technology enthusiast working in various industries over the last 17 years. With solid experience in team management, solution architecture and design, software and database development, business analysis, business process management and most recently getting more exposure to enterprise architecture.

He spent the last 4 years focusing on cloud infrastructure environments in the enterprise, specifically focusing on security and governance. He has been focusing on Azure and AWS environments, achieving the AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification in 2018, and Azure Solutions Architect Expert in 2021.

Arné holds a Diploma in Computer Science (Dip.Comp.Sci), and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Informatics.

Kelly is a detail-oriented project manager with over 10 years of project management experience in the IT industry. She is a Certified Scrum Master and has completed her CAPM, Prince2 and ITIL Foundation certifications. Her qualifications and experience have helped her to deliver multiple complex hardware and software installation projects. She prides herself on the relationships she builds with customers and other stakeholders.

In Kelly’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her 2 active boys and being outdoors.

Zanthea is a Prince2 certified project manager with experience in retail and IT industries. She is passionate about building relationships and connecting people, ideas and resources to achieve business objectives. Her approach to delivering projects is driven by value, process and collaboration.

Tami has been in the IT industry for over 10 years and has acquired in depth knowledge and capabilities within the Strategic Project Management Space. She holds her Advanced Scrum Master, CAPM, PMP & ITIL Foundations certifications and is currently studying for the AWS Fundamentals certification. These certifications have enabled her to deliver on complex software and operational programs and projects in the past decade.

Tami is effective in decision-making, has top EQ skills and positive mentorship skills. She has the drive to enable change, passionate about people and communication and absolutely loves a TO-DO list.

In her spare time, Tami enjoys high intensity gym workouts, and is always up for a new challenge. She loves spending time with her family and is a wife and mum to 3 children.

Dave is a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with over 20 years experience in the IT field. He is currently working towards his Azure Certifications, and is always open to learning new technologies. Dave’s diverse working experience spans the globe where he worked in London, South Africa and Australia. He is a team player who can expertly balance technical skill with pragmatic and practical solutions whilst ensuring that the customer is happy.

In his spare time he enjoys fishing, and spending time with his wife and 2 busy sons.

Kate has over 10 years of experience in marketing, mainly focused on branding, events and marketing communications in different industries. She describes herself as a work in progress and is always open to learning new things. She has a double bachelor’s degree, in Psychology and Marketing Management.

Adding that extra layer of sales and marketing support, Kate hopes to greatly contribute to the business and grow with the TechConnect family moving forward.

Nicky has extensive experience in the IT industry having worked across both public and private sectors.

Passionate about people, Nicky is dedicated to maintaining a customer-first mindset in every aspect of service delivery, and committed to fostering a strong, collaborative team culture. Nicky is well versed in ITIL Service Management, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Nicky believes building strong relationships is the foundation of success, where trust and collaboration drive lasting results.

Adrian is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional with experience working with AWS and other Cloud Partners to deliver high-quality services to customers worldwide. He has handled clients from the US, Singapore, Philippines, and Australia. Aside from working in the tech space, Adrian enjoys sharing his knowledge of the cloud with the community and participating in AWS-related events.

Adrian graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman with honours and has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

During his free time, he likes to play video games and read books.

Toni has over 10 years of Project Management experience in the IT industry. She is a Certified Scrum Master and has completed her PMP, a Diploma in Project Management and ITIL Foundation certifications. She is multi-qualified in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and is a member with both AIPM and PMI.

When not delivering projects, Toni is focussed on managing external providers ensuring we keep not only our customers happy but our external partners happy too.

When Toni is not at work she can found eating good food, walking her dog, swimming at the beach, and enjoying the outdoor.

Dean is a highly motivated problem solver who is passionate about IT. He brings over seven years of IT support experience to the role, with his skillset spanning Office 365, VOIP, networking, server and firewall management. He is committed to continuous learning and obtaining industry certifications to stay current with the latest trends and technologies in IT and consistently expand his skillset and knowledge. In fact, he is currently learning how to program and is studying towards his next Azure certification.

In Dean’s spare time he enjoys anything fitness related, including playing soccer on the weekends and getting a good gym workout during the week. He also spends his downtime listening to music and is an avid fan of Motorsport, F1 in particular.

Simon comes with over 20 years’ of experience in sales, enterprise hardware, software and managed services. Proven experience in aligning ‘People, Processes and Technology’ to drive transformation and deliver sustainable results. Passionate about delivering great customer experiences, a good listener and driven to solve business problems. Simon is committed to working closely with customers and aligning our solutions to suit their business needs. He is easy going, focused and always ready to reach out to create positive outcomes and long term relationships.

Lenka is a seasoned professional with a passion for both helping people and excelling in diverse fields. Though having completed her Level 1 ambulance course (BAA) in 2010, she followed a different path, but her unwavering love for assisting others has remained a driving force throughout her career.

With over 13 years of invaluable experience in administration and customer service, coupled with 9 years of dedicated IT support, Lenka possesses a unique blend of skills that make her a valuable asset to any team. Her eagerness to learn and expand their knowledge showcases her commitment to providing exceptional support to colleagues and clients alike.

Lenka is more than just a professional; she is a compassionate individual who thrives on making a positive impact. She is also a proud wife and mother who in her spare time loves the outdoors, going camping and fishing, and even working towards getting her firearm license, while still finding time to work on baking and cooking creations in the kitchen.

Richard has been working in the IT Support Industry 10+ years. He is a neat and organised person. Working with people, and helping them with their IT problems and queries is one of the things he loves about his job, as it brings him great satisfaction to know he was able to resolve an issue promptly and completely.

To date, he has completed his Microsoft Azure Fundamentals – AZ-900 and CompTIA A+ Certifications.

During his free time, Richard loves going to the gym and playing online PC games with his friends. He also does some Down Hill Mountain biking every now and then, and is passionate about a lot of things among which are gaming, cars, music, and the outdoors. He has three cats and they mean the world to him.

Billie has over 12 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Networking, and Telecom Engineering. He has worked with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and hybrid cloud, supporting cloud adoption and enhancing system efficiency.

Throughout his career, Billie has contributed to large-scale cloud infrastructure projects, including enterprise network migrations and global VoIP implementations, and holds several professional certifications. His diverse background enables him to adapt to different technical challenges and evolving environments.

Outside of work, Billie enjoys working out and spending time with his daughter and pet sugar gliders, which keeps him active and engaged beyond the tech world.

Josiah is a Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong background in AWS, specializing in designing scalable, cost-effective, and reliable cloud solutions. He enjoys solving problems and taking on challenges in cloud infrastructure, automation, and networking. He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and beyond his professional expertise, he enjoys teaching and sharing knowledge, helping others navigate complex technical challenges.

Outside of work, he has a passion for building and discovering, which is reflected in his interest in building models, Raspberry Pi, and Arduino projects.

Mikka has 4 years of experience working with cloud platforms, and IT operations. She believes that joining TechConnect as a Solutions Architect would challenge her to go out of her comfort zone, and be exposed to an array of architectures.

She spends her free time mostly at home, watching anime, or playing games. From time to time, she also tries different hobbies, and traveling.

Corey has completed a Graduate Diploma in Networking. In the last 4 years, he has been working in Sales and Service Management. Joining TechConnect, he’s excited to learn everything he can in the tech space. In fact, he is currently working towards his AWS Solutions Architect certificate and further into a tech career.

In his free time, he likes to play video games, spend quality time with his wife or snuggle one of his cats.

Norman brings to the role a broad range of expertise delivering technical support to customers while achieving numerous technical certifications over recent years. Coming from a large organisation, he is well equipped to take this role on in his stride. Norman is a collaborative team member who always finds a way to look at continuous improvements and how things can be done more efficiently.

Norman loves a bit of adventure and is on his way to getting his private pilot’s license and also enjoys taking long rides on his motorcycle. Goju Ryu Karate is a love of his life, and if that’s not enough to keep him busy he also plays the piano and guitar.

Rajesh brings to the role over 18 years IT experience, including 14 years of UAE experience. His expertise includes support of hardware and software including Windows, Office, iOS and MAC, networking and project involvement across these areas for various companies.

Rajesh describes himself as dedicated, persistent and hardworking. In his spare time, he enjoys watching cricket, listening to music and winding down to a good movie.

Juan has experience across Azure AD Administration, 365, Security and Compliance, Jira and Atlassian Administration and more. His most recent role was with the UKs largest telecoms and service provider. He was second in charge of the key accounts team that serviced some of the company’s largest contracts.

One of Juan’s most proud accomplishments is starting a dog rescue with his wife, as well as being able to say he does his dream job every day working in the Tech industry. Juan and his wife started a rescue with the goal of fostering dogs until they can be rehomed. Some of Juan’s other hobbies include Motocross, riding whenever time permits. He is also a dedicated sports shooter so most often you will find him at the shooting range.

Emil joined TechConnect with 10 years of combined experiences in software development and data engineering. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a major in Networking. However, he found an interest in software development, built up his knowledge in programming and pursued a career in software development instead. Over the years, he has also developed an interest in data science and cloud technologies.

Emil believes that TechConnect can be a great place for him to learn more and at the same time apply the best practices in the data space. During his free time, you can find Emil playing online games, table tennis with friends or doing road trips to beaches and finding good spots to chill.

With over 20 years of experience in computer hardware and software, Mac brings deep expertise in installation, configuration, management, troubleshooting, networking, and customer support. Having spent more than 12 years working in Abu Dhabi—including 3 years as an IT Support Lead, he has built a strong foundation in delivering exceptional service across diverse environments.

Throughout his career, Mac have supported clients across the US, UK, Middle East, Philippines, and now Australia, always with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving issues efficiently.

Mac holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from De La Salle University Dasmariñas and holds a certification in Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals.

Outside of work, Mac enjoys playing basketball and staying active at the gym.

Jaco is a results-driven professional with a history of implementing new procedures and technologies to strengthen security posture and enhance operational efficiency. His technical experience and knowledge spans across Microsoft 365 and Azure AD, Networking, AWS Fundamentals and Architecture, Firewalls, Linux and more.

In his spare time, Jaco’s favourite hobby is gaming, and he has great memories of entering E-Sports comps and throwing LAN parties, while nowadays Jaco enjoys gaming more casually but still with as much passion.

Devro is a results-driven IT professional with a strong background in maintaining in-house IT systems and delivering exceptional customer support. Known for his reliability and problem-solving skills, he consistently exceeds expectations by providing seamless technical assistance both remotely and on-site. With a collaborative approach, he works effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal service delivery and system performance.
